Is the treatment painful?

Forever Bare BBL™ is quick, gentle, and well-tolerated! Most people describe the sensation as a warm snap, similar to a rubber band. Thanks to the built-in cooling system, discomfort is minimized — and no numbing cream is needed. Many guests say it’s much more comfortable than waxing.

How many sessions will I need?

Most guests need 6–8 sessions, spaced 4–8 weeks apart, depending on the area. Laser hair removal works best when hair is in its growth phase (called the anagen stage), and not all hairs are in that phase at the same time. That’s why multiple sessions are needed for even, long-lasting results.

How long does each session take?

Most Forever Bare BBL™ hair removal treatments are quick enough to be done during a lunch break! The exact time of each session depends on the size of the area:

Small areas (like the upper lip or underarms) take around 15 minutes.
Large areas (like legs or back) take closer to 45–60 minutes.

How should I prepare before my treatment?

To ensure an effective and safe treatment, follow these tips ahead of each session:

30 days before: Avoid sun exposure and self-tanners.
7 days before: No exfoliation, loofahs, or aggressive scrubbing.
1 day before: Shave the area – aim for stubble no longer than 0.5 mm.
Day of: Wear loose, breathable clothing and skip lotions or perfumes in the area.

What should I do after my treatment?

It’s normal to notice some redness and swelling in the treatment area – this often means the treatment worked! To help your skin heal:

Be gentle — no scratching, picking, or scrubbing.
Avoid sun exposure for 30 days post-treatment.
No heat-causing activities (like hot yoga or saunas) for 48–72 hours.
Avoid applying scented lotions, soaps, or perfumes for 72 hours.
Only shave between treatments – avoid waxing, tweezing, and any other method of hair removal other than shaving.

How long do results last?

Forever Bare BBL™ can reduce hair growth by up to 90%, with long-lasting results! Various factor such as hormonal changes may affect regrowth, so we recommend 1 maintenance session per year to keep things smooth.

Are there any contraindications?

While Forever Bare BBL™ is safe for most guests, it is not recommended for those who:

Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or undergoing IVF.
Have tattoos in the treatment area.
Have conditions like cancer, vitiligo, melasma, or epilepsy.
Have recently used Accutane or other Vitamin-A prescription medications.
Have a history of keloids or poor wound healing.
Have been tanning or using self-tanner in the last 30 days.
Are on anticoagulants or have a compromised immune system.
