Most guests find Forever Young BBL to be very tolerable thanks to the device’s built-in cooling system, which helps maintain comfort throughout the session. You may feel a warm snapping sensation during each pulse of light, similar to a rubber band flick, but any lingering heat is quickly soothed. After the treatment, a cold compress is applied and provided for you to take home, allowing continued cooling until the warmth fully dissipates.
A typical BBL session takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
One of the best features of Forever Young BBL is its minimal downtime. You may experience mild redness or warmth similar to a sunburn for a few hours. Dark spots may temporarily darken before flaking off over the following 7 to 10 days. You can resume almost all regular activities the day following your treatment, although we recommend avoiding strenuous exercise and swimming for 48-72 hours post treatment.
For optimal results, we recommend an initial series of 3 to 6 treatments spaced about 3 to 4 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments once or twice per year help prolong your results and support healthy, youthful skin.
We recommend avoiding makeup for at least 12 to 24 hours post-treatment to allow your skin to calm and begin healing. Tinted sunscreen can be applied immediately after treatment (as long as the skin is intact) and can aid in protecting the skin from the sun while minimizing the appearance of redness.
To ensure the treatment is safe and effective, avoid unprotected sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least 4 weeks before and after treatment. Discontinue the use of retinoids, exfoliants, and certain topical products 7 days before your session.
To maximize your results and protect your skin, we recommend the following aftercare:
+ Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily and avoid direct sun exposure, as your skin will be more sensitive to the sun.
+ For the first 48-72 hours, avoid heat-inducing activities such as intense exercise, hot showers, saunas, and spicy foods.
+ Until sensitivity has fully subsided, refrain from swimming or exposing your skin to chlorinated water. Additionally, avoid using active skincare products such as retinol, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), or physical exfoliants. Only apply gentle skincare products.

While Forever Young BBL is safe for most guests, it is not recommended for those who:
+ Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
+ Have conditions like cancer, vitiligo, melasma, or epilepsy.
+ Have recently used Accutane or other Vitamin-A prescription medications.
+ Have a history of keloids or poor wound healing.
+ Have been tanning or using self-tanner in the last 30 days.
+ Are on anticoagulants or have a compromised immune system.
+ Have very dark skin tones (Fitzpatrick VI), as there’s a higher risk of hyperpigmentation or burns.
